As you have probably learned by now Kurt & Renee Pipinich who were part of the founding members of the Montana Reining Horse Association and most recently the Northern Rockies Reining Horse Association are battling a critical health issue for Kurt.
 
There was a silent Auction held at the 2008 Hungry Horse Slide that was well supported for such a short notice. Thank You to all that donated and all that Purchased items. Also Thank You to the Montana Reining Horse Association for allowing The Northern Rockies Reining Horse Association to be a part of their show and to allow the Auction to take place at the show.

Kurt recently had surgery due to peritonitis and during the surgical process to repair his intestine, doctors found a rather large tumor that turned out to be cancerous. It was later determined that there is lymph node involvement

After investigating their options, Kurt and Renee have decided to seek treatment down in Mexico (Rosa Rita) at the Sanoviv Medical Institute (check out the website at www.sanoviv.com) Kurt will head down there on May 28th for extensive testing and a regimen that will get Kurt’s immune system strong and ready for a treatment protocol that will be determined based on those tests. He should be down there for about 3 weeks.

Right now Kurt is recovering from his surgery, has actually been working over the past few weeks, and is feeling great.
